Bonsai quando posso

Idee, Bonsai e Prebonsai

Sometimes luck is on your side and this is the case. I was repotting the ash tree the other day and I couldn't find a right pot for this plant.
Even though i cut some roots no pot that I though was right seems to contain the plant correctly, then I look at this low pot that I had bought some time ago without a specific reason. Incredibly the fraxinus seems to fit good in this on, I arranged the roots the best that I can in my little dimension mixed substrate. I covered with sphagnum to protect capillars.
I learned from this plant that is very usefull to make an accurate check on the growing buds, in fact the power of the sprout can easily ruin the design of a branch. So it's a good thing to "waste" some time on checking and remove the unnecessary buds.
