Better luck next time

Ho avuto modo di verificare lo stato della margotta di melo che ho eseguito nel giardino del mio amico Paolo. Purtroppo questa volta non mi è andata bene. Appena ho reciso il ramo mi sono accorto che la margotta non aveva funzionato.
Il ramo non ha gettato alcuna radice, controllando bene ho poi compreso i motivi che possono aver portato a questo risultato.
-Incisione che non è arrivata alla profondità necessaria
-Scarsa quantità di sfagno 
-Sacchetto chiuso male che ha permesso allo sfagno di uscire e di non mantenere l'umidità
C'e da dire che la posizione era davvero scomoda e che il ramo era di grosse dimensioni.
Ho comunque avuto modo di capire alcuni errori per evitarli una prossima volta.

I had the opportunity to check my apple layering made at my friend Paolo garden. Sad to say this time the process hasn't go in the right way. Soon after the cutting I've noticed that the layering hasn't work properly.
The reasons could be various and I spotted some
-My incision hasn't gone deep inside enough
-The sphagnum wasn't enough
-The plastic bag wasn't close as good as I want so both sphagnum and humidity could not last long.
I have to say that the position wasn't convenient and the branch was big.
For the next time I can remember all this errors and try to do a better job.
