Zelkova #2

Questa è la mia seconda zelkova, la prima foto è del 2012 anche se possiedo questa pianta da più tempo, ossia da quando camminando per il giardino di mia zia notai questo cespuglietto informe con rami lunghissimi. Mia zia mi disse che l'aveva presa solo per il vaso e che se avessi voluto avrei potuto tenerla.

Detto fatto ho preso la pianta, l'ho rinvasata e le ho dato la forma che all'incirca ha ancora adesso.

L'ultima foto è di oggi ed è stata fatta subito dopo il rinvaso. La pianta ha bisogno di essere filata per dare un movimento più corretto ai rami.

This is my second zelkova, the first picture is from 2012 but i own this plant for some years more. I've noticed it in my aunt's garden, she claimed that she had purchased it only for the pot which she loved. She assured that i could take it and so i did. At first it was only a small bush, so i've repotted it and i trimmed it down to the actual shape. The last picture is from today and it shows the bonsai after the repotting, i choose a smaller pot because the old one was exaggeratedly large.

Now i will wire it to create a more graceful movement for the lower branches.
